Hardware Program
The combination of a standards-based hardware reference system, Linux building blocks and automotive middleware lays the groundwork for the development of Open Infotainment Platforms. Below is a list of companies that are developing hardware architecture and systems for the Moblin IVI community.
- Low-Power Intel® In-Vehicle Infotainment Reference Design
- Hardware reference design with a modular CPU and baseboard design that enables features such as 3D navigation, rear seat entertainment, cameras, hands free CE connectivity and Internet connectivity in a single 1-DIN system.
- congatec conga-IVI Starterkit
- Kit that includes an automotive carrier board, conga-CA COM Express module, and all necessary cables, add-on peripherals, software and documentation to build the Low-Power Intel IVI Reference Design. The Conga-CA COM express module and automotive baseboard can be ordered today and will start shipping in summer 2008.
- Xilinx Automotive Spartan*-3E FPGA
- FPGA that combines typical automotive I/O (MOST, video, I2S, I2C, UART, etc) connectivity in a single chip.
Hardware Roadmap
The reference hardware system includes an automotive baseboard, an automotive system controller board and a CPU daughter card.
